Introducing Aspercreme® Arthritis,
Powered by Diclofenac Gel
With NEW Aspercreme® Arthritis, you can get this prescription-strength NSAID over the counter. The topical diclofenac gel is applied directly to your hands, wrists, elbows, feet, ankles, or knees.* It’s clinically proven to relieve arthritis pain, and can help reduce stiffness and improve mobility.
What is Diclofenac?
Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that has been used by US patients and doctors for more than 10 years. It’s used to treat osteoarthritis, which is the most common type of arthritis.1 Until recently, diclofenac was only available with a prescription. But now with Aspercreme® Arthritis, you can get this highly effective NSAID over the counter.
When applied topically, diclofenac gel has demonstrated efficacy in treating arthritis.2 It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are the substances that control inflammation in the body.3 Arthritis sufferers are all too familiar with the painful joints that come with inflammation, and how hard it can be to move. Topical diclofenac relieves the pain and helps alleviate the stiffness.
How Aspercreme® Arthritis Can Help
Aspercreme® Arthritis was formulated with one thing in mind: to help you enjoy everyday activities without arthritis pain. You can do the dishes, work in the garden, or play with the dog — all without worrying about aching joints.
Aspercreme® Arthritis is designed for topical application for the treatment of arthritis pain. When applied and used as directed, it can provide lasting relief from pain due to arthritis.
The Convenience of a Gel
Get where-you-need-it relief from pain in the hands, wrists, elbows, feet, ankles, and knees.
Unlike pills, Aspercreme® Arthritis is applied directly to the joint, so you get pain relief directly at the source. The gel formula is non-greasy. And because it has the active ingredient diclofenac, Aspercreme® Arthritis provides targeted OTC pain relief that you used to get with a prescription.
